Welcome to Spring Into Giving, part of the 2022-2023 Annual Giving Campaign (AGC) at Withrow Public School!   The AGC is a direct fundraiser where parents / guardians / community members can donate to the Withrow Parent Council at any point in the school year and receive a tax receipt.  

The AGC was started several years ago so that students and parents did not have to sell items to generate funds for the school. In years past, this fundraising has helped to provide classroom enhancements such as greening initiatives, arts and science programs and technology purchases, equity and inclusion initiatives, library enhancements, and the once-in-a-generation projects like the current schoolyard revitalization, among many other things. These funds have helped to improve and enrich many aspects of our children's experience at school.

For this year's Spring Into Giving Campaign, we want to bridge the gap to be able to fully fund the remaining projects identified during the budget proposal process, which include:

• Student advancement in STEM and digital learning initiatives

• Anti-racism and equity initiatives

• Art and music programming

• Outdoor education

• Anti-bullying resources and education

Of course, we understand that these are difficult times for everyone, so donate only what you can.  For those looking for guidance, we suggest a donation of $30 per student that you have enrolled at Withrow.  Prefer to donate your time and thoughts?  We need those too!  We’d love to see you at a Parent Council meeting or  send us an email (Withrow.ParentCouncil@tdsb.on.ca) and share an idea.
